Leftist Terrorist Charged Over IED Explosion

An arrest was recently made over an underreported terrorist attack on the Alabama Attorney General’s office in February where an improvised explosive device (IED) was left outside the office.

26-year-old leftist Kyle Benjamin Calvert, who reportedly identifies as a female, was charged with malicious use of an explosive and for possessing an unregistered explosive device after law enforcement recently caught up with him.

The attack happened at approximately 3:42 a.m. There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

The explosive used was described as being a homemade improvised explosive device (IED) containing nails that would be shot out at high speeds upon detonation. It was reportedly made using inflammable liquid, mortar, fireworks and nails.

Calvert is allegedly caught on surveillance footage wearing dark clothing, a face covering and goggles, and the footage is being used to connect him to the crime.

Authorities have stated that Calvert is potentially facing a 30-year prison sentence for the terrorist attack on a government building.

Apart from the more serious charges being faced by Calvert are some lesser offenses that give us some insight into why the mainstream media wasn’t overly excited to report on what one would think would be headline news.

Calvert is also being linked to defacing other government properties, posting stickers that denounced law enforcement and promoted other views popular on the extremist left, some of which directly supported leftist terrorist organization Antifa.

One sticker read, “Support Your Local Antifa.” Another was an image of a gun with the words “Defend Nature” printed over it, and one blatantly asserts that “Anti-Fascism is Community Self-Defense.”

Despite the dangerous act of terrorism, one can’t help but feel a little sorry for Calvert. After years of leftist governments — and weak Republican ones — allowing these groups to run free without any consequences or serious deterrents, the poor alleged terrorist must have been shocked when authorities actually did something about his crime.
