Leftist Media Falsely Accuse Trump Of ‘Bloodbath’ Comments

In another case of “fake news,” the far-left mainstream media has once again misconstrued Donald Trump’s words, accusing the former president of saying if he does not win the 2024 election, there will be a “bloodbath.”

For correct context, at his Saturday rally in Ohio, Trump said there would be a “bloodbath” in the automobile industry if Biden is reelected, which was a way of saying that jobs would be lost.

Prefacing his “bloodbath” comments, Trump talked about how China is building large car manufacturing plants in Mexico with the intention of selling those cars in the United States.

Trump then said, “If you’re listening, President XI,” Trump told the crowd. “Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now, and you think you’re going to get that, you’re going to not hire Americans and you’re going to sell the cars as now we’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those guys if I get elected.”

Then, referring to the automobile industry, he added, “Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — That’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country.”

Of course, being the unofficial propaganda arm of the Democrat party, it is hardly surprising to see multiple networks falsely frame Trump’s words.

Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), who was at the rally, rushed to Trump’s defense, saying that the media will do whatever it takes to make sure Trump is not elected president again. Even X owner Elon Musk jumped into the fray, and after exposing the out-of-context clips from the “legacy media,” encouraged X users to send links to the platform to their friends

But the leftist news media’s pearl-clutching over a possible actual “bloodbath” if Biden is reelected is not without incredible irony. After all, it is Biden’s administration and its political allies that are bringing NATO ever closer to a large-scale conflict with Russia.

As election day draws nearer, it must be expected that Trump’s words will be taken out of context and used against him by the leftist media. Thankfully, platforms and independent media exist to quickly rectify such disingenuous falsehoods.
