Judges Behaving Badly: The Wisconsin Case
In what can only be described as a flagrant abuse of judicial power, Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan now finds herself on the wrong side of the law after allegedly helping a violent criminal illegal alien escape federal authorities. According to FBI Director Kash Patel, Dugan “intentionally misdirected federal agents” away from Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, a Mexican national with an extensive violent criminal history who was in her courtroom for a pre-trial hearing on domestic abuse charges.
What makes this case particularly egregious is that Flores-Ruiz isn’t just any illegal immigrant – he’s a previously deported violent offender facing charges of strangulation, suffocation, battery, and domestic abuse. The very victims of his alleged crimes were sitting in the courtroom when Dugan reportedly whisked him away to safety through a restricted exit. Attorney General Pam Bondi didn’t mince words about the judge’s actions.
“We could not believe that a judge really did that. You cannot obstruct a criminal case. And really, shame on her. It was a domestic violence case of all cases, and she’s protecting a criminal defendant over victims of crime.” Bondi said.
The New Mexico Horror Show
As if the Wisconsin case wasn’t disturbing enough, former New Mexico judge Jose Cano and his wife Nancy are facing even more serious charges for harboring a Venezuelan migrant with ties to the notoriously violent Tren de Aragua gang. The details of this case read like a horror movie script. According to AG Bondi, the migrant, Ortega-Lopez, had death-themed jewelry, was covered in tattoos, and kept grotesque evidence of his handiwork on his phone.
“He also had on his cell phone pictures of two decapitated victims. Two victims, decapitated. Gruesome photos. And he was sending them out. And whoever he was sending them to was sending back saying ‘hey, you need to be careful. You shouldn’t be sending these. You shouldn’t be texting these photos out.'” sources report.
When authorities began closing in on this monster, what did Judge Cano and his wife do? They didn’t call police – they took a hammer to Ortega-Lopez’s phone, smashing it to destroy evidence, then personally walked the pieces to a dumpster to protect him. This is the kind of person these former officers of the court decided deserved their protection – a gang member with decapitation photos. The Canos now face up to 20 years in prison for their actions.
No One Is Above The Law
While leftist politicians like Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson have predictably rushed to criticize the arrests as “political,” the Trump administration is sending a crystal clear message: aiding and abetting illegal aliens, especially violent criminals, will not be tolerated – regardless of your position or title. Border czar Tom Homan made this perfectly clear in a statement that should chill any sanctuary-loving official to the bone.
“I have said many times within the past few months, that people can choose to support illegal immigration and not assist ICE in removing criminal illegal aliens from our communities, BUT DON’T CROSS THAT LINE. If you actively impede our enforcement efforts or if you knowingly harbor or conceal illegal aliens from ICE you will be prosecuted. These actions are felonies. More to come.” Homan wrote on X.
Both judges are now learning the hard way what millions of Americans already know – when you choose to harbor criminals and obstruct justice to advance your own political agenda, there are serious consequences. What’s truly remarkable is that these judges sacrificed their careers, reputations, and freedom not to protect American citizens, but to shield violent foreign nationals who have no legal right to be in our country. No wonder the American people are fed up with this blatant disregard for law and order.
