FBI Director Vows Action As Conservatives Face Wave Of Swatting Attacks

A surge of swatting attacks against conservative media figures has drawn the attention of the FBI, with Director Kash Patel vowing swift action. In a March 14 statement on X, Patel said his team is working closely with law enforcement to bring those responsible to justice.

Gateway Pundit reported that social media personality “Catturd” was swatted for the fourth time on the night of March 13. Journalist Breanna Morello posted on X about the incident, stating that many conservative commentators fear being targeted but are reluctant to go public due to repeated harassment.

The Daily Mail provided details on conservative radio host Joe Pags, who was swatted early on March 12. The outlet reported that he shared footage showing an armed presence outside his home in response to a false emergency call. Pags later said he contacted Patel directly, urging the FBI to investigate the pattern of incidents.

The Post Millennial covered the case of conservative activist Shawn Farash, who was also swatted in recent days. The report suggested that doxing — where personal information is leaked online — has played a major role in these incidents, making it easier for perpetrators to make precise false reports.

Patel made it clear that these attacks pose a significant danger. “This isn’t about politics,” he wrote, emphasizing that swatting endangers innocent people and law enforcement officers alike.

With the FBI now directly involved, those responsible could soon face legal consequences. Patel has promised continued updates as investigations progress.
