Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and owner of X, claimed that several billionaires are supporting Kamala Harris out of fear that President Donald Trump will expose the names on Jeffrey Epstein’s client list. In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Musk alleged that wealthy backers of Harris are worried about the fallout if Trump wins the 2024 election and makes good on his promise to reveal the list.
“You know, I think part of why Kamala is getting so much support is that if Trump wins, that Epstein client list is going to become public,” Musk told Carlson. Musk also named venture capitalist Reid Hoffman and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates as two of the billionaires who he believes are particularly concerned about this potential disclosure.
Carlson agreed, saying that he could sense the unease in these figures. Musk added that many of these same individuals have publicly criticized everyday Americans while allegedly hiding their own involvement in questionable activities. He suggested that a Trump victory would allow him to “clean house.”
The Epstein client list remains a closely guarded secret, with legal protections in place for some of the names involved. Many are either victims or have been falsely accused, making the release of the list a contentious issue.
Musk, who has endorsed Trump and appeared with him at campaign events, continues to support Trump’s 2024 bid, which includes a promise to reveal the Epstein client list.
