In a sharply worded op-ed for Fox News, Donald Trump Jr. has criticized Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party for their handling of the southern border and election security. He accused the Democrats of allowing chaos at the border to influence the upcoming elections.
Trump Jr. argued that Democrats prioritize non-citizens over Americans by dismantling election safeguards and embracing non-citizen voting. “Americans should decide American elections. This is common sense and fundamental to our democracy. But Democrats are allergic to common sense, and they do not want our elections to be secure,” he wrote.
He singled out Harris’s role as “border czar,” claiming her lack of action has worsened the border crisis. “Led by Vice President Kamala Harris, they have undermined our country at every turn, welcomed the invasion at the border and encouraged non-citizens to cancel the voice of Americans,” Trump Jr. asserted.
Highlighting Harris’s minimal involvement, Trump Jr. noted that she has only visited the border once and has not communicated with the Border Patrol chief. He pointed out that under her oversight, more than 40% of migrants released have disappeared and that nearly 10 million illegal entries have occurred since President Joe Biden took office.
Former President Donald Trump, speaking at a rally in Georgia, blamed Harris for the deaths of Americans killed by illegal immigrants, including the case of Laken Riley. He argued that Harris’s policies allowed the murderer to remain in the country.
As the election approaches, Trump Jr. underscored the need for the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, introduced by Texas Rep. Chip Roy (R). This legislation seeks to prevent illegal aliens from registering to vote by requiring proof of citizenship and granting states greater access to federal databases.
Trump Jr. criticized current laws as inadequate and called for stricter measures to protect election integrity. He pointed to legal battles in states like Vermont, Arizona, North Carolina, and New York City to keep non-citizens off voter rolls. “Democrats have a clear plan: allow law-breaking illegal aliens to overrun the border and remove barriers to the ballot box,” he claimed, urging volunteers to join Protect The Vote to prevent election interference.
