Archbishop Vigano: Supporting Trump Is Essential For America’s Future

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano is calling on American Catholics to support President Donald Trump in the 2024 election, asserting that voting for Kamala Harris would be a betrayal of the faith. In his letter to American Catholics, Vigano described Harris as “an infernal monster who obeys Satan” and emphasized that Trump is the only candidate who can defend the country’s values.

Vigano, who served as the Vatican’s envoy to the United States from 2011 to 2016, has become a prominent figure for his vocal opposition to corruption and mishandling of scandals within the Church. His recent message to Catholics underscores the importance of the upcoming election, framing it as a choice between preserving freedom and succumbing to tyranny. He urged Catholics to reject neutrality, arguing that failing to vote is equivalent to aiding harmful forces.

According to Pew Research, 52% of American Catholics plan to vote for Trump, while 47% support Harris. Vigano highlighted these numbers, emphasizing the need for Catholics to rally behind Trump as a means of countering what he calls the “globalist agenda” threatening America’s future. He insisted that Harris’s policies, if implemented, would lead to moral, social, and economic decline.

The archbishop stated that Trump’s leadership is essential to safeguarding the nation from a conspiracy he claims is orchestrated by elites who oppose Christian values. Vigano encouraged Catholics to vote for Trump as an act of faith, urging them to stand against those who seek to undermine their religion and freedoms.

Cardinal Raymond Burke has also offered spiritual guidance, asking Catholics to pray and fast before casting their votes. He emphasized the importance of carefully evaluating each candidate’s platform and choosing the one that best aligns with Catholic principles.

Father Chad Ripperger further supported these efforts by composing a prayer for the election, encouraging Catholics to seek God’s guidance in making their decision and ensuring that the election result reflects America’s commitment to faith and morality.
