New York’s anti-Trump crusading Attorney General Letitia James threatened to seize the former president’s real estate holdings if he is unable to meet the ridiculous $354 million awarded in a civil case she brought against him.
The total balloons to $450 million with interest.
Trump was subjected to the outrageous judgment last week by controversial Judge Arthur Engoron, who observers noted had a strong bias against the former president from the trial’s onset.
The 2024 Republican frontrunner is also prohibited by Engoron’s ruling from playing a role in any New York business for three years. This is yet another plank in the Democratic program to bring Trump to his knees.
AG James told ABC News’ Aaron Katersky that if Trump lacks the funds to comply with the judgment, “then we will seek judgment enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets.”

Trump vowed to appeal the decision, which determined he inflated the value of assets to secure favorable loan terms.
James boasted that her office is confident that Engoron’s ruling will stand on appeal and would not hesitate to take control of one of his buildings. Not that this is a surprise to anyone, but the DA’s outright hostility to a private citizen is on full display yet again.
The prosecutor even named the prominent 40 Wall Street structure by name in her braggadocio.
James asserted, “We are prepared to make sure that the judgment is paid to New Yorkers, and yes, I will get 40 Wall Street each and every day.”
The obvious point made repeatedly by Trump’s attorneys during the three-month civil trial is that there are no aggrieved victims. The former president was not accused by any business partners of any wrongdoing, and his loans were repaid in full.
Banks also made their own assessments at the time the loans were taken out, but this was lost on James and her horde of Democratic persecutors.
The clear goal of the party is to weaponize the judicial system to destroy the former president. The fact that Trump has not been humbled only drove the dagger further and proved that he will not succumb to what he correctly described as a “witch hunt.”
